Develop the Whole You

Today, many people are finding themselves in unique situations at work “in our new job market”, which frequently involves remote work. Our post-pandemic world has created many wonderful employment opportunities, and you may be ready to make the “pivot” into a different work situation or career, as responsibilites in your current job have changed. You want to modernize your resume and Linkedin profile for better networking and job searching.

College and Graduate School has changed as well. You may find yourself in need of brushing up on your executive functioning skills. Extensive time spent alone and on the computer with the distractions of gaming, social media and other enticiments, can lead to a lag in this important area.

When you are ready to take that next step, you want to explore all of your options and make yourself stand out in the crowd. You want to be flexible in using your skills in a new way. I can help you direct and organize your search, rework your resume and Linkedin profile, as well as give you confidence for your interviews. Together we will Develop the Whole You.

I believe that Career Counseling involves “Developing the Whole You” – finding a job where you find self fulfillment, where you are challenged, and see yourself making a positve contribution.

I became a career coach not only for the joy of helping others, but to combine my counseling skills with my organizational psychology and recruiting acumen in order to help people reach their full potential.

I see the search process through the lens as both a job counselor and as a former recruiter. I am familiar with job searches: both contingency and retainer. I am comfortable with candidate coaching; I know what the employer is looking for.

I am well versed in all aspects of job counseling, resume review, interview preparation,Linkedin profiles, networking, assesments, personal statements, job selection, negotiation and cover letters.

We can talk about where you have been, and where you see yourself in the future, to develop your career plan. The goal is to find out what you would like to do and present yourself in the best light. If you are ready to take that next step, to explore, or just touch up your resume, please contact me and we can set up a session.
