FAQ

How Can I tell if you are the right Counselor for me?

I offer a free phone consultation so that we can discuss your current situation and you can decide if you would like to work together.

Who can you help?

I help people who find themselves laid off and searching for that next opportunity. Or those looking for a career change but are unsure of what that next step should be.

I help college students looking for help with internships, or graduating from college looking for that first job. I work with young people for whom that first job has not worked out.

I can help if you are returning to the workforce after an absence. Lastly, I help those later in life who may want to retire from their primary job, but still keep themselves active in the workforce.

How do you provide  a Career Assessment?
I have standardized tests, such as the Strong Interest Inventory, that I can offer for you to take which can help us determine your interests.

Is there a code of ethics?
I follow the code of ethics of the ACA (American Counseling Association) which ensures your confidentiality.

Do you also provide basic mental health counseling?
I am a trained counselor, and certain personal topics may come up in our career counseling session that we will want to discuss. Should you or I feel that you need further therapy, I have other trained professionals that will refer you to.

If you would like to begin your career discussion, work on your resume, take an assessment, or for any other career related topic - contact me and we can "Develop the Whole You!"
